The Acoustic Borehole Televiewer provides continuous logs of oriented, unwrapped Images of borehole walls. Further processing allows for the computation and display of standard information on fractures and other geological features.

The Acoustic Televiewer can be run in both clear and opaque borehole fluids however the cleaner the medium the better the image produced.

For clients who wish to process data in house, output files come as follows.

For raw files.. without picking or editing.

  • *.HMTL  {raw picture image without any adjustment to improve image view}
  • *.HED  {raw export file from recording softwareRG/LGX file}

For partially processed files we export the data out of WellCAD (*.WCL v4.4) which can export to the following formats:
